Introduction

The electro-acupuncture is a method widely used in Chinese acupuncture, for which we make use of certain acupuncture points, but the permanent electrical stimulus emitted by the electro stimulator, graduated earlier time, intensity and frequency, the results we following desired effects:

Analgesic effect.
Anti-inflammatory effect.
It stimulates the immune system.
Retrieves motor function
Retrieves the haemostatic function.
Sedative and tranquilizer.

Both general and dental level electrostimulation acupuncture has variety of uses, for example, patients in going to work at no.16 piece of maxilla, which manifest a state of anxiety and nervousness in some previous complications anesthesia, so we decided to help with electrostimulation acupuncture.

1. We placed distal points (points far to the work site)
IG Item 4 (item 4 of the large intestine) This point is the analgesic that exists in the human body.

Once you locate the acupoint innervation of the arterial wall is 5 times greater because the point is subjected to waves of pressure, volume, tension and flow, this also happens in the axons of nerves and nervous in the vascular bundle since its mesenchyme is rich in water and exhibits high electrical conductivity, for that reason has higher conductivity.

These effects occur also driving through the skin has less resistance, hence higher electrical conductivity, and skin we found lots of nerve endings and blood vessels.

"By stimulating the acupuncture points produces greater openness by increasing capillary blood flow, this makes it possible that substances such as serotonin, bradykinin, histamine and prostaglandin are present in blood vessels causing analgesia and reducing inflammation that these substances are involved also the processes of inflammation, "Prof. Dr. Hurtmert Heine-Institute of Medicine antinotóxica-Germany

"An acupuncture stimulation also acts on the hypothalamus pituitary adrenal ACTHL causing release of steroids and substances that increase the body's defenses." Dr. Bernardo Acosta-video conference, Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine

To achieve analgesia Tchi acumpuntural we get to the therapy is effective (ZTE), this is found between the level of cramp and below the threshold of pain is stabilized this zone (HAZ) behaving as proprioceptive stimuli, conscious and tactile .

2. The other points are local electrostimulation. The most analgesic face is the small intestine 18.

Item 18 ID: Item 18 of the small intestine is found in the extension of an imaginary line extending from the outer corner of eye and nasal ala.

In this case we want to work Part # 16 we will help with a point in the ear that is for maxilla:

Punto Maxilar Inferior

Punto Maxilar Superior

Once we know the points that we will use the needles and proceed to electrostimulation. You should take into account the time, frequency and intensity.

Punto Mano

Punto 4 de Intestino Grueso

Punto Cara y Oreja

    Punto 18 de Intestino Delgado

We always start with a low frequency, 5 Hertz, and 30 minutes we can reach 60-100 Hertz, depending on each patient. To reach this rises gradually every 10 minutes until the effect of accommodation for the frequency that would make effective therapeutic zone (HAZ) is the patient who defines intensity.

Equipo de Electroestimulación

In this system there Electrostimulation nerve block as with anesthetics. What happens is that the central nervous system releases cerotoninas, endorphins, and prostaglandins that are endogenous substances, and produce an analgesic and sedative.

Benefits of electrostimulation in the event of surgery:

Enhances bleeding
Improves healing
Quietness of the patient
Less chemicals
Postoperative if needed.
Better recovery.
